2959 N Lincoln Ave. Tipped off by lifestyle blog & newsletter UrbanDaddy, I sauntered into this beautiful space. Today’s the official opening day and I’m customer #7! Warm, welcoming and white Restoration Hardware-styled with doses of good coffee from Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Heritage has a bike shop in the back with Chicago-welded custom bikes for sale. These machines are very lovely and will run you about 7 bills to start, but I have a feelin’ they’re gonna have to move a few out of the way for more communal table space. Feels like I’m in someone’s nice kitchen. Free wi-fi – hooray – and pastries and simple lunch offerings if you’re feeling the rumbles. Hours 7 to 7.
